Squad Logistics ("we," "us," "our") provides courier and delivery logistics services in Nepal, including the Squad Logistics Rider App and Squad Logistics Vendor App (together, the "Apps") and our website at sqdlog.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's used. See also our Terms and Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

From Riders (delivery staff) using the Rider App:

• Login phone number and PIN
• Real-time GPS location, while actively using the app for deliveries (used to show your position on the map, sort deliveries by distance, and calculate routes)
• Delivery confirmations, including an optional signature captured on-screen

From Vendors using the Vendor App:

• Account details: name, phone number, email, business address
• Orders you create: your customers' name, phone number, delivery address, and order amount (including cash-on-delivery amounts)
• Support messages, comments, and ticket content you submit

From Customers (recipients of deliveries):

We do not operate an app for customers. We collect a customer's name, phone number, and delivery address only because a vendor or our office staff enters this information to arrange delivery on the customer's behalf. Customers can look up their delivery status using a tracking ID, without creating an account or providing further information.

Automatically collected: standard technical information (device type, app version, IP address) for troubleshooting and security.

2. How We Use This Information

• To create and deliver packages: assigning riders, calculating routes and delivery charges, and tracking delivery status.
• To communicate delivery updates.
• To provide customer support and respond to tickets/comments.
• To improve the reliability and accuracy of our delivery and routing systems.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

• GalliMaps — to convert delivery addresses into map coordinates and calculate routes within Nepal.
• OpenStreetMap — to display maps within the Rider App.

These services only receive the minimum information needed to perform their function (e.g., an address to be geocoded), not your full account details.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secured servers and transmitted using encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access is restricted: vendors can only see their own orders and customers; riders can only see packages assigned to them; office staff access is limited to their assigned branch, except for administrators who oversee multiple branches.

5. Data Retention

We retain delivery and account records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet standard business and legal recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may request to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business use by riders, vendors, and office staff, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
